    The True Grip Story

    THE BIG IDEA

    Owner and creator of True Grip, Bob Landreville, is a disabled Marine Corps vet and has been a licensed fishing guide since 1987. He started Take a Vet Fishing in 2015 which developed into an annual fishing tournament for Wounded Warriors on Leech Lake in northern Minnesota.

     

    Over the years of guiding and fishing tournaments, Bob noticed many people struggled with being comfortable while holding the fishing rod due to existing medical conditions or fatigue.

     

    In 2023, Bob came up with idea of an Add-On Net Handle and this product came out in September 2024!

    HISTORY

    Create a 90 degree ergonomic, comfortable and stable platform for gripping the fishing rod. By changing the holding position and grip style of the fishing rod, you reduce fatigue, muscle strain and stress on your hands, wrists, back and shoulders. 

     

    The handle is attached securely with velcro straps and will fit almost any fishing rod on the market. 

     

    The handles are easy to use by people of all ages, from the beginner to the avid fisherman to the Wounded Warrior that served our Country.  These handles help you fish longer and stay stronger while you reel in the big one.

     

    Baitcasting and Spinning models are available in five colors and are Fishing Guide Tested and Approved.
